storage units
Storage Units are separated deeded property with their own individual parcel id numbers. They were designated as “Commercial Units” in our original Declaration. This was the decision of the developer who wrote and filed our condo docs. The association acknowledges that this is not standard and has caused several issues for both the association and owners; however, the association had no say in this matter. One of the results is that the storage units incur separate bills for property tax, 9-1-1, and solid waste fees. Another result is that storage units must be conveyed by Quit Claim Deed from the seller to the buyer at closing when a condo is purchased. The only long-term solution is to amend our declaration. The association is not currently pursuing that option.
For owners who are in the process of signing quit claim deeds to convey ownership from previous storage unit owners, here are some helpful links:

Mailboxes
Our mailbox is owned and maintained by post office. Repairs must be coordinated with the West Peachtree office: 404-873-4813. Owners must complete a form in person at West Peachtree office to request repair or re-keying of mailboxes. A fee will be collected by the post office.
plumbing - water shut off for individual condos
There should be a water turn-off valve to turn off the water only to your unit located on a pipe behind your water heater. Some units are configured differently with water heaters in the basement, so this may not be true for all units. Please check before you request water to be turned off for the building to make individual unit repairs.
the shut-off valve for D-1 is in the crawlspace below the unit
